ALICIA'S JOURNEY WITH FA

Welcome to our blog where we try to keep family & friends updated on our daughter/granddaughter, Alicia, who is one of the most adorable five year olds ever! She was born with a very rare & aggressive disease, called Fanconi anemia, which causes bone marrow failure, as well as different cancers . She is currently undergoing a bone marrow transplant to try to cure her bone marrow issues. If you'd like to gain a little more background, please visit our first entry HERE.

Hello everyone,

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated on Alicia. Everything is going well. Alicia turned Three Friday. She is getting to be such a Big Little girl. We hired a Clown for her party and she loved it. His name was Sparkles and he did a real good job entertaining the 17 chldren that were there.

We are still planning to move to Cinncinnatti. We are going to wait till after the first of the year, so we can spend the Holidays with our family.

Alicia's counts have stayed the same. She just got over a Cold so her Platelets are low but that is expected.

I hope everyone is doing well, and I wish everyone a Happy Holidays.

Michelle
