ALICIA'S JOURNEY WITH FA

Welcome to our blog where we try to keep family & friends updated on our daughter/granddaughter, Alicia, who is one of the most adorable five year olds ever! She was born with a very rare & aggressive disease, called Fanconi anemia, which causes bone marrow failure, as well as different cancers . What a BEAUTIFUL FAMILY you have!!! Am so glad that Alicia had a great birthday and that her brothers and mom and dad were able to spend it with her.
I got a card ready to send to her but my husband keeps forgetting to send it to her.
It will go out tomorrow, I hope. He's just been busy working and taking up the slack...I've been very tired and blood counts were low. Got a transfusion of 2 bags of blood on Saturday and feel better. It's amazing what the transfusion did for how I felt!!!
Just wanted to let you know that I didn't forget the princess! She looks great!
