ALICIA'S JOURNEY WITH FA

Welcome to our blog where we try to keep family & friends updated on our daughter/granddaughter, Alicia, who is one of the most adorable five year olds ever! She was born with a very rare & aggressive disease, called Fanconi anemia, which causes bone marrow failure, as well as different cancers . She is currently undergoing a bone marrow transplant to try to cure her bone marrow issues. If you'd like to gain a little more background, please visit our first entry HERE.

Update

Hello everyone,
This is Krisstina updating for Michelle, as the Internet service has been down for 3 days there at the hospital.
Alicia is doing fine. She is very excited awaiting her visit form her mommy and daddy today.
Michelle did want me to let everyone know that Alicia did have her Princess parade and she has pictures to post as soon as she can.
Please keep praying for Alicia to do well and that this GVHD is finally getting better!!
Michelle would love to she the light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks again for stopping in!
Krisstina

Thanks so much for the update! Was getting really concerned!
You never know where you're going to find words of comfort in Scripture.
Know that I'm here praying!
Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

Thanks Krisstina for updating us...I was begining to wonder what was happening...I tried to call and left a messaage for you michell, but never heard back from you. I am so happy to heard Mommy and Daddy will be there with you Alicia, you must be just jumping up and down with joy. Dont give your mema a hard time till they get there, OK. I love you all and have never stoped praying for a quick recovery from all Alicia has been going through.
We love you and send GREAT BIG (((HUGS)))

Thanks Krisstina,
I was a little concerned that there was no update. I am glad it is JUST internet problems. Can't wait to see the Parade pictures! We are continuing to pray for Alicia and did so at prayer meeting this past Thursday night.
Lots of love,
Charisse
